Music School Violas

For the beginner, we supply several viola outfits.

Prima 200.  The Prima 200 viola is the first quality viola at an affordable price (around £300).  They are supplied in a variety of sizes (12", 13", 15", 15 ^1/2", 16"), and we upgrade them in our workshop to get the best playability and tone.  Finally we also improve the outfit by supplying it with a better quality carbon fibre bow.

Westbury.  Westbury violas are very good value, available in a variety of sizes (15", 15 ^1/2", 16" and 16 ^1/2").  We set them up in our workshop, and supply them as an outfit with carbon fibre bow and case for £around £375.

GEWA (Germany). We currently find the violas offered by the old established German firm of Gewa are the best available, and we have instruments from Gewa that sell for £850. Gewa have recently moved production to China but have successfully managed to instill their high German standards for which they are famous. The instruments are set up checked and varnished in Germany
